ICSI Pipette (Inject)

ICSI micropipettes are used to aspirate and inject the sperm directly into the oocyte.

Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is a technique used in in vitro fertilization (IVF) or zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT) to treat male infertility or poor fertilization.

It involves injecting a single sperm cell directly into the cytoplasm of an egg using a very fine needle. This technique skips the natural process of the sperm penetrating the surface of the egg, or the acrosome reaction.

ICSI can be performed as part of either the long or the short protocols. ICSI is a safe and effective procedure that can improve the chance of fertilization .
